Cookie Policy

Cookies are small files a site stores on your device. We also use similar technologies like local storage; this policy covers both.

To keep you signed in, protect your session, remember choices as you move through the product, carry signup or pricing intent between pages, and diagnose whether the product is working.

Plaventi uses httpOnly session cookies for signed-in hosts. These cookies hold backend access and refresh tokens, are set with same-site protections, and are not readable by browser JavaScript. They are cleared when you sign out.

The app stores non-secret markers in local storage, such as a signed-in profile snapshot, a placeholder token showing that secure cookies hold the real session, pending plan or onboarding details, template draft intent, UI preferences, and demo or review-state markers.

We may record usage and diagnostic events in our product and server logs so we can understand feature usage, investigate errors, and improve reliability. We do not currently rely on a public marketing-cookie banner in the app source reviewed for this policy.

Stripe may use its own cookies or storage when you use subscription checkout, ticket checkout, payouts, or refunds. Google Maps may do the same if Maps or Places features are enabled or if you open a map link. Their use of cookies is governed by their own policies.

Signing out clears Plaventi's session cookies and local session marker. Your browser also lets you block or delete cookies and local storage, though doing so may break sign-in, checkout handoff, onboarding, or other product flows. If we add non-essential marketing cookies, we will provide consent controls where required.

We'll update this policy when our use of cookies or similar technologies changes, and we'll re-ask for consent where the law requires.
